EVENING SEA PLUNDERS ANOTHER SCREENPLAY – THE PEARL DIVER

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – March 19th, 2012. Promising to acquire strong stories with great characters for varied exploitation, Evening Sea Entertainment has optioned another screenplay, “The Pearl Diver,” written by Peter Scott Vicaire. “The Pearl Diver” is a supernatural thriller that revolves around a young Korean American woman who moves to South Korea with her family only to face vengeful ghosts from her family’s past. Following “Crosstown Traffic,” this Screenplay is the second script Evening Sea Entertainment has optioned in 2012.

Lately, Vicaire is hot: this is the second screenplay the attorney-turned-writer has optioned this year. The first, “Unmasked” is a co-financed project between Nasser Entertainment/Nasser North and Studio City Pictures and is expected to start production sometime in the second quarter of 2012.

Evening Sea Entertainment, headed by Matt Lubetich, looks to option additional material throughout the coming year. Previously, Lubetich was COO at Bigfoot Entertainment and part of the first Asia-Pacific Film Policy Forum. He looks for “The Pearl Diver” to be the Company’s first Korean Co-Financed picture.
